This is the first book I’ve read in the Boys of Summer series (it’s book 3 but works fine as a stand alone) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the amazing chemistry between Emerson and Alvarez. I also loved that neither were perfect which created issues in their relationship (even before it began!) that they had to work through to get to that happy ending that we all love. This was really well written and you see the story from both Emerson and Alvarez’s points of view. The book really pulls you in to the characters feelings and their lives, making you really feel for them or want to throw a book and inwardly groan at them when they’ve put their foot in their mouth or made a dumb choice! It’s a must-read for lovers of sports romances, particularly if you love baseball!
Note: This book was an ARC gifted in return for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

This is a short story which is a prequel to End Game whose release date has been postponed until next year.
*fans self* Ooft now this little story will definitely get you hot under the collar and wanting more! Though short, it was brilliantly written. It gave us a nice little intro into why Indie had to leave London for the US and what her life is like when she begins her first semester at Harbor View. It made a nice change to read a short but oh gosh it’s definitely left me wanting more! Which is a good thing! I neeeed to find out what happens between Indie and Clay! Boy were there sparks flying! I thought both Indie and Clay were great characters; their personalities were oozing off the page. I also loved the introduction of Indie’s step brother, Ryan and her room mate, Ally – both seem like great characters and I’m hoping for more from them in End Game. Bring on End Game!
