I have been dying to try the new Rita Ora nail polishes by Rimmel and because today was officially payday I mosied on down to Superdrug to pick myself up one of the pretty pastel shades. When I got there, I discovered it was 3 for 2 on All cosmetics – much to my delight – yay! This meant I could also try out one of the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows and the Kate eyeshadow stick by Rinmel in Pure Turquoise as I had been eyeing both up for the past few weeks. Woohoo!
Here are my purchases:
I stood for ages trying to decide which shade of Color Tattoo to buy and in the end settled on On and On Bronze (I later saw on the site that there was a few more shades available than what was in the shop – boooo! I would have liked to have tried Pomegranate!).
I’ve always been a fan of turquoise and loved lining my eyes with the colour when going to gigs. This eyeshadow stick is also waterproof! Now I wish this was around back when I went to gigs. Maybe then it wouldn’t have been half way down my face post-gig after all that rocking out haha!
I was torn between the lilac and the mint shade but the shade of my fave colour won out. This shade is called Go Wild-er-ness. Can’t wait to try it out.
I was slightly perplexed when looking at my eyeshadow stick. It’s made of plastic but there’s no way to twist the eyeshadow up once it’s gone dull! I had to google it to see if there was a solution because I’ve also had the same problem with my L’oreal Le Lip Liner Magique which I was gutted about as it is such a fab product. So, I googled. Apparently, you’re to sharpen them like you would a normal pencil type liner. But it’s plastic! I’m a little worried that it’ll break my poor sharpener! Hey ho we’ll see how we go though.
******* Update *******
I have just attempted to sharpen my Le Lip Liner Magique … It worked a treat!! I just need a jumbo sharpener for my eye shadow stick now!
I hope you’re all having a lovely Monday. I always get the Monday blues myself and so wish for the weekend lol.
