Happy Hooves Tee Shirt Review.

“Let’s Avocuddle!!” Happy Mother’s Day to all you mamas out there (we celebrated back in March here in the UK) but we wanted to share the love and celebrate again with you all!

Willow is modelling this seriously cute tee from the vegan run brand, Happy Hooves! The tee is really good quality and made from 100% cotton. It’s age 2-4 so plenty of growing room for Willow. Absolutely love this design and the quirky slogan! I’ve also got my eye on a Harry Potter inspired hoody (you’ve gotta check it out!) and their Happy Hooves mug. For all you makeup addicts out there, there’s even a design for you guys! Happy Hooves is regularly coming up with new designs so keep your eye for them. I can’t wait to see what else they come up with. If you pop on over to their site and see something you like, I have a 20% off promo code for you guys so feel free to use it (valid until 11.59pm on 19th May) : JPXV0S2C9ZC5.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful day and that you mummies are up to something really special!

Storybook Cosmetics Wizard Wands Brushes.

Hey all. How are ya’ll doing this fine Sunday? I recently took part in a competition to win a set of Storybook Cosmetics brushes at a book release party over on Facebook. I was so thrilled when I found out I’d won that I thought I’d share my excitement with you all.

I’d been lusting after the brushes for sooo long and I can’t wait to work some magic with them – IF I can bring myself to use them! Thank you so much Katie M. John for my spoils! I really wasn’t expecting the extras that came with the brushes so it was such a lovely surprise! Love my little Gomm knight badge. I’ll be putting that on one of my bags! Willow loves the pen haha and attempted to draw all over the parcel bag. 😂

Katie is the fabulous author of amazing YA books such as The Knight Trilogy series and the Meadowsweet Chronicles series. If you’d like to find out more about her books, check out her author page on Amazon UK and Amazon US.

Look how pretty this magnetic palette is! 😍

Fall makeup!

I love this time of year when the leaves are falling off the trees and are beautiful autumnal colours of reds, golden yellows and burnt oranges. I also love that it’s Halloween season which means that I can wear my fave Lime Crime lippy in Pumpkin Pie and know that no one will bat an eye lid! Not that I wouldn’t wear it any other time of the year but October is the perfect excuse! So I thought I would share with you a makeup look that I did a couple of days ago.

Excuse my gormless face hahaha some very serious looking poses going on there. 😂

I have also used my Jeffree Star Androgyny eyeshadow palette for my eyes and my Younique brow pencil on my brows (well obv.  🙄 I mean, where else would you use it). What do you think? Do you have any favourite makeup looks for Fall/Autumn/Halloween?
I still don’t know what I’m doing for Halloween yet or how I’ll do my makeup if we do decide to do something. I haven’t even got an outfit in mind! I left my favourite outfit at my parents which I’m quite gutted about! Oh well, I’ll figure it out somehow!
That’s it’s for today guys. I hope you’re all well and having a great weekend! Bye for now!

Medusa’s Makeup Lipstick Review.

Hey guys! How’s your Tuesday going? Today I’m going to talk about a great cruelty free cosmetics brand called Medusa’s Makeup. Their products are also vegan friendly. Yay! I first discovered this brand on Facebook! I was drawn to their bright lipstick/eyeshadow shades and, most importantly, that they are vegan. They were kind enough to send me a lipstick to review (you may have seen my previous post) and,  just so you know, all opinions are my own. 😀 I would never be dishonest about a product that I’m reviewing. Now, on to the review…

Above I am wearing Medusa’s lipstick in the shade Triple X. The bright pink is quite the show stopper and will certainly get you noticed! The formulation is gorgeous and so creamy! It’s so moisturising and the pigmentation is amazing! After taking this pic I blotted it and had something to eat and drink and the colour was still so bright! As you can see below:

As you can see, it’s faded a little at the edges and towards the middle of my lips but it’s still going strong! I’d say I had to reapply about 3 hours after the first application which is actually quite good going in my opinion. Overall, I really love this lippy and would definitely like try out more shades!

Medusa’s Makeup also do a monthly subscription box. How fab is that?! You guys know I looove me a subscription box! Would definitely consider buying one of these in the future!
You should pop on by to Medusa’s Makeup and check their products out for yourself! Their prices are really affordable and for us who don’t live in the US it’s free international delivery on orders over $40.

A sneaky makeup peak…

A sneaky peak as to what’s coming up on the blog! 😀 Thank you Medusa’s Makeup! I can’t wait to share this with you guys!

Two Parties and Today’s Makeup!

Hey guys! How’s your Sunday? Today we had two parties to go to! The first one was a first birthday party and it was pirate themed! Of course we had to dress little Willow up so she could join in the fun! There was a bouncy castle there too! We put Willow on it and bounced her up and down which she loved but as soon as we let go of her so she could have a go by herself, she was having none of it, got all shy and wanted me or Aled to pick her up so she could cuddle into us. She much preferred chasing balloons and blowing into and empty gift wrap roll haha! Oh and eating! I think that was her fave part! 😂 Thought I’d share with you all a piccy of her in her outfit.

The second party we went to was an afternoon tea at Aled’s parents for his mum’s birthday. We all had such a lovely time! Willow thoroughly enjoyed the cake haha!

This was today’s makeup look.

I’ve used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance on my eyes. Gosh I love this palette! It’s so darn pigmented! Especially when you wet or spritz your brush! If you haven’t done it, do! It also stops fall out which,  yay! Unfortunately I didn’t have time to experiment and try something new, so this had to do.

That’s all for today, guys. Hopefully see you soon with another post! 😀

MOTD – Freedom Jewels And Riches palette!

Because my lips are still recovering from an allergic reaction to a lip plumper, I don’t feel confident wearing makeup at the mo and sharing the looks so I thought I’d share another look that I did a few weeks ago. I’d recently bought a Freedom eyeshadow palette so couldn’t wait to give it a whirl!   My brows aren’t quite on point but fairly pleased with the overall look. I used shades Moonstone, Rose and Revelation from my Freedom Jewels And Riches palette and Jeffree Star’s liquid lippy in Sagittarius on my lips. 😀 Loving the Freedom eyeshadow palette. It’s quite pigmented and for £8 you can’t go wrong! What are your favourite eyeshadow palettes? Do you own any from this brand? Let me know in the comments below!
