Stephenie Meyer’s ”The Host” to be a film! Steph

Stephenie Meyer is known for her sell out Saga – Twilight. The Twilight Saga has been a series of blockbuster films so it is no suprise that another one of her books, “The Host” is going to be hitting out cinema screens in 2013.
The book revolves around a girl named Melaine Stryder. The world has been inhabited by an alien species called “souls” and they live their lives by inserting themselves into human bodies. The soul wanderer inserts themselves into Melaine’s body while she is searching for her family. There is a problem for wanderer as Melaine is still conscious and puts a barrier in her mind so that the souls cannot find her family. During the book the wanderer tries to break down these walls in Melaines mind but begins to become sympathetic towards the humans of their loss and relationships that they have been the cause of. The wanderer has to choose between being loyal to their race or her love for humans.
Saorise Ronan is set to play Melaine, she is a great actress and is known to play Susie Salmon in “The Lovely Bones” and Hanna in “Hanna” so she is pretty established!
here is the trailer for the lovely bones – another thriller which Saorise starred as the main character in!

The release date for the film is set to be March 29th 2013 in the USA
