The Mortal Instruments Casting Update! – Steph

Are you a fan of ”The Mortal Instruments”? well, as many of you know, it is being made into a film like the other famous Sagas such as Twilight, Harry Potter – you name it.

A recent casting update has revealed that Jamie Campbell-Bower, who is known for playing his role of Caius in “The Twilight Saga” and ¬†Gellert Grindelwald in “Harry Potter” is to play the character Jace Wayland in the film. JCB will be starring alongside Lily Collins who will be playing the female heroin Clary Fray. The Series of books consists of 4 books and this role is said to be ”Star Making” as stars from the films such as Twilight have shot straight to stardom after the films had been released…So, do we see Jamie Campbell-Bower as the next Robert Pattinson or Daniel Radcliffe? one thing all three have in common is that they are from the UK!

**This news has been confirmed by Cassandra Clare @cassieclare – the author of Mortal Instruments, Jamie’s co stars such as Daniel Cudmore @danielcudmore who plays Felix in the Twilight Saga and Charlie Bewley @alchemission who plays Demetri in the Twilight Saga have sent their congratulations to Jamie via twitter**
